PARKSON GROUP<03368> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Parkson Retail Group Limited (the "Company"), trading
in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(29/8/2006) pending the release of an announcement by the Company in 
relation to placing of existing ordinary shares of the Company by the 
substantial shareholder which is price sensitive in nature.
